MyHockey Youth Programme Joint Venture
Old Albanians Hockey Club has rebranded and relocated. Our new name is Phoenix Hockey Club and we are now based at Tyger Valley College. All our previous youth and junior hockey activities and programmes, plus new exciting ones, will be run as Joint Venture with the MYHockey, the existing youth programme currently based at school and lead by Brendon Tarr, a well-known hockey personality in Pretoria.
We’re excited about the joint venture with MYHockey and Phoenix Hockey Club.
The Joint Venture will be known as the MyHockey Phoenix Youth Programme and will offer a variety of exciting hockey opportunities to the younger players of the city. We are looking forward, together with Brendon and MyHockey, to offer an enhanced hockey experience and service to you and your children.

During the course of the season the following activities will be available:
High School
For high school children, week night training with experienced provincial and national coaches and participation in the Northerns adult leagues as dedicated youth teams.
Primary School
For primary school children, training in small groups on a Friday afternoon with a focus on age appropriate skills development.
For u 10 – u13, playing matches against invited schools and other clubs on a Friday evening after training and participation in a junior league programme as soon that is established.
Special Hockey Clinic
Goal keeper clinics.
Specialised clinics, over several days during school holidays or off-season weekends, dedicated towards developing individual skills and match awareness situations.
Participating in the exciting, fast paced, hockey fives format tournaments.
